Gingerbread House Kits for Pick-Up

For nearly a decade, 18 Reasons has invited kids and those young at heart to sit at our tables and decorate gingerbread houses to their heart's content. The smell of sugar, the sounds of holiday music, and seeing everyone's creative use of licorice ropes and dried coconut flakes are signs of celebration that we look forward to every December.

Due to the pandemic, we won't be hosting these workshops, but we will be providing gingerbread house kits to keep the tradition going in the comfort of your own home. For the price of one ticket, you will receive:

One pre-assembled gingerbread house (dimensions - 5½" x 6" x 6½”).

"Fan Favorite" Decorations: Based on what we've seen over the years, we'll have a dozen of the most popular decorations used in past in-person workshops, like spiced gumdrops, fruity cereal, and mini candy canes. And of course, a variety of sprinkles!

Three tubes of icing: One large tube of white icing, and two smaller tubes of colored icing for accents.

Mini gingerbread people, exclusively made for us by our friends at Bi-Rite Creamery, to complete the wintery scene.

A printed sheet with tips for decorating.

Kits will be available to pick up on Sat, Dec 5, from 2-5 pm from 18 Reasons (3674 18th St., San Francisco). Weekends can be very busy in our neighborhood and there is limited street parking, so please give yourself lots of padding in your schedule if you plan to drive and park in the area. Due to limited staff capacity, we are unable to ship the kits.
