Sin maiz, no hay paiz. Translated, it means "without corn, there is no country." Masa is the heart of Mexican cuisine. In this class, we will focus on masa, using it in three shapes: tostadas to be topped with a fiery shrimp in chile sauce, Bean and Veggie Tacos Fritos, and Gorditas to be filled with Mushroom Picado.
Come ready to work with dough and leave with new understanding and a full belly.
