Indian Thali - In Person
A hands-on in-person cooking class culminating in a dinner served with wine and beer. This class is limited to 10 students. See our registration policies here and our rules for in-person events here.
Cooking together in our kitchen on 18th St gives us a particular advantage: many hands make light work! Indeed, the number of dishes and condiments to make a thali is a bit much to do alone at home for a home cook learning the flavors of the North Indian pantry. We will be cooking together as a team to make a list of appetizers, mains, and sides. Students will experience a classic thali-style meal and have multiple recipes in their back pocket to mix and match at home as they like. In the thali spirit, we'll be plating the finished array of foods on our plates in the kitchen, and heading out to our communal dining table to tuck in!
