This is a live, interactive, hands-on cooking class held online via Zoom. See our event policies at the bottom of this webpage.

While everyone starts seeing green this month, matcha green tea is an ingredient to add to your spice cabinet and not just your tea cup. Join Annelies, our resident tea expert and author of Steeped: Recipes Infused with Tea for a class with matcha ado. Matcha green tea is ubiquitous in baking and the bright green tea powder adds a grassy, nutty flavor (plus that verdant color!) to anything it touches. In this class, we will make matcha mint shortbread star cookies that sparkle with black sesame. For the main course, we'll make black bean burgers topped with matcha guacamole. Bring your questions about cooking with tea!
